Wigstöckel Transgender Event 2008

“Wigstöckel” is a play on the German words for “wig” and “high-heel” and refers to the New York Drag Event Wigstock. Wigstöckel presents a big annual event in Berlin featuring an entertaining and chameleonic show and information booths where trans and queer organisations display their work, and our precursors are commemorated with the Walk of Fame. It is a unique event that unites all sorts of drag performers, transpeople, crossdressers, nogenders and their friends and fans.
